Was supposed to do 3 x 2miles, but my shin was flared up (no meds) so I decided I really need to give my shin a rest so I am able to really train hard the next month.

Went to the pool and did pool running. 3x 13 minutes at race pace effort  with 2 minutes recovery between. Good hard effort.

10 min pool run wu. 8 x 800 (3:15 min) at 5k pace in the pool 1:45 min recovery jog between. 5 min cool down run. Good workout- feel about the same as I do if I was outside running.
