Easy miles in the foothills. Legs felt heavy first 2 miles and then everything felt good. About 2000 ft climbing. Ran last half mile at 7:05 pace just too see how it felt and it was comfortable. Signed up for Missoula marathon- haven't run that distance in ten years. Hoping to place top three so I think I need a 3:05 to do that. Should be doable, just gave to add some longer tempo runs to work on leg speed. Might have to think about racing schedule in June. I have it planned out to do a 35k trail 6/6, half 6/20, 10k 6/27, 5k 7/4. And the race is 7/12... |
