| 10 miles. 3 mile wu. 5 mile HMP tempo. Goal pace 6:45. splits: 6:41, 6:41, 6:43, 6:38, 6:42. On target. Legs felt really good, but the heat toyed with my energy level. Should probably carry water on workout days...
Allergies acting up (at least I hope it is allergies and not a cold)- they better get under contorl by this weekend. Scenic half on Saturday.

| 2 mile wu. 10 x 400m on at 3k pace (6:05) 400m jog. Acutally felt much better today not sure if I am just recovering or the ultragen I had after my workout yessterday. I have been out of recvoery drink for a few weeks so maybe I just needed a boost.

| easy 8. Not sure if I will run tomorrow. Taking day off with girls before I head to Alaska. Half on Saturday. Not sure it will be as fast as I had hoped, but it is a flat course so it will be a good gauge... |

| First Half of the season. I was hoping to do a 1:28, but I ended up slower. I found out a few days prior that I would be taking a work trip to Alaska for 4 days and I had to leave on Saturday. Haven't left the babies for that long or gone by my lonesome since I had the oldest (6). Had some separation anxiety and couldn't really focus during the race.
I ran well and felt fine afterward and couldn't even tell I ran a half on Sunday. The race director changed the course this year and made it loop through a park and go over every little hill he possibly could. It threw me out off a little.
Couple more weeks till Missoula!!!
