3x 2mile  at 6:45. 0.25 recovery jog between. 40 mph winds with 60 mph gusts made this workout a little tricky. 1st and last mile were in the wind and they were not 6:45 pace...

took an anti-inflammatory and tried out a long run. Leg felt much better, took it pretty easy and after 10 miles picked it up a bit to test my leg. Last few miles at RP.

Was supposed to do 3 x 2miles, but my shin was flared up (no meds) so I decided I really need to give my shin a rest so I am able to really train hard the next month.

Went to the pool and did pool running. 3x 13 minutes at race pace effort  with 2 minutes recovery between. Good hard effort.

2 miles in the morning to test out the leg. Felt pretty good.

2 mile wu 5 mile tempo at RP (6:55). Head wind for a portion of every mile. The first mile was mostly in a nasty head mind...

8 wu. 10 x 1k at race pace (1/2k recovery).  Wore KT tape all day yesterday and today and m y leg felt good. No pain.. although both of my calves were tight for the last few miels- maybe due to sprints on Wedneday.

Hit my pace easily. Felt strong and comfortable.

Played in a women's soccer league tonight. Lots of sprinting. Didn't wear cleats and was sliding in the wet grass. Both groins are sore. got nailed in the chest/hand with a kick so have a big black bruise on my hand. Peobably should wait until after the marathon until Iplay again....
