Excellent workout today. 3x 20 min at 10k effort up hills with 3 min recovery between. I didn't watch pace at all, just went by effort and pain. AP ended up being 7:42- which included a slow mile warm up and a mile on muddy trails. Same course as the 13.1 race and my time was only 11 minutes slower with double the hills. Really happy with my fitness level/ speed at this point in my training ( or lack there of). |
